Residential Self-Supply GST/HST LawBot
You may be required to account for the GST/HST on self-supplies of certain non-taxable renovation costs/added value (ex. the cost of your own labour).
For example, if the fair market value of your own labour in the renovation project was $10,000, you would have to account on GST/HST applicable to the self-supply of your own services (i.e. 13% or $1,300 in Ontario).

In this case, you may not be entitled to Input Tax Credits to reduce your GST/HST liability.
